Prosecco turns pink with Bottega Rosé

Il Vino Dei Poeti Prosecco Rosé DOC 20 cl is a Brut sparkling wine, produced by Bottega S.p.A., that originates from grapes grown in Prosecco DOC Area. It is a refined and elegant product, obtained from a blend of Glera and Pinot Noir and characterized by the typical bright pink mother-of-pearl colour.

Traditional techniques combine in this new prosecco

The Prosecco DOC Area is characterized by a mild climate and clayey soils of alluvial origin rich in minerals, ideal conditions to best express the properties of the Glera and Pinot Noir grapes.

Since the two varieties have different ripening times, they are vinified separately. The two wines obtained will then be blended and re-fermented according to the Martinotti Method at a controlled temperature of 15-16° C and the re-fermentation process lasts on average 2 months.

This wine is characterized by a bright pink mother-of-pearl colour and a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, the fruity hints of cherry and berries stand out, which accompany the delicate floral notes like peach blossoms. On the palate, it is fresh, delicate and fragrant with a good retro-olfactory persistence.

Excellent as an aperitif, it can be served during the whole meal and goes well with appetizers, with vegetable risottos, not too elaborate main courses of fish and roast or grilled white meat. Perfect with raw fish and sushi. It is also recommended in combination with pizza.

A premium Prosecco

In addition, Bottega created Pink Gold, a Prosecco Doc Rosé Brut, to offer consumers a premium version of the new Prosecco rosé. The new sparkling wine is fresh, complex and fruity, and contained in a sophisticated bottle with a sinuous shape. The alluring packaging is enriched by the unmistakable livery, made with an exclusive metallization process, thanks to which the light pink colour becomes an integral part of the external surface of the glass. The glitter that covers the label and the capsule gives the bottle an even more glamorous touch.
