A unique combination of nano technology and silver has come together in these new face masks from Bayart Innovations.
Bayart Innovations accelerated its development of environmental hygiene projects just after the pandemic outbreak and reallocated its current production centres to cover airline and passenger expectations.
Hygiene and PPE products are generally made up of plastic materials and can only be used once. With sustainability and waste management still of critical importance to Airlines and Airports, a new option was needed.
Bayart Innovations engineers applied silver ions to the yarn structure of the textile with nanotechnology. With this technology, the face masks gain a lifetime antibacterial, antivirus, antifungal and antimicrobial properties.
The silver ions used with the nanotechnology are highly reactive and they interrupt vital processes within the bacterial, viral and microbial cells, ultimately killing them. As the silver ion is present within the yarn itself, it maintains its effectiveness throughout the product’s life.
Bayart’s Silver Ionized nanotechnology has been applied to face masks and received incredible test results for customers. The customizable silver ionized technology ensures over 98.1 BFE rating after 100 washes, no smell for 10 hours and is reusable to minimize the cost and waste for the environment.
